8 When the Danites returned to their tribe[a] in Zorah and Eshtaol, their kinsmen[b] asked them, “How did it go?”[c] 9 They said, “Come on, let’s attack them,[d] for[e] we saw their land and it is very good. You seem lethargic,[f] but don’t hesitate[g] to invade and conquer[h] the land. 10 When you invade,[i] you will encounter[j] unsuspecting people. The land is wide![k] God is handing it over to you—a place that lacks nothing on earth!”[l]
